In large skillet heat 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Salt and pepper both sides of the pork chops to taste. Place pork chops in heated skillet, and cook evenly on both sides with an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees .
Once they are cooked set them aside.
In the same skillet, add chopped onion. Cook 2-3 minutes until they are brown and tender.
Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and cook for additional 30 seconds.
Pour in cup of bone broth and 1 cup of heavy whipping cream.
Reduce heat to medium low & whisk in basil, garlic powder and Parmesan cheese. Cook on medium-low until the sauce thickens.
Mix in 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley, and stir to combine.
Return pork chops to skillet, coat in sauce, and cook for a few additional minutes to heat the pork back up.
